Independence Day

India’s Independence Day 2025 was celebrated on 15 August 2025, marking the nation’s freedom from British colonial rule first attained on 15 August 1947. On this day, the Prime Minister unfurled the national tricolour at the historic Red Fort in New Delhi and delivered a speech to the nation.
