Kabaddi is one of the oldest and most exciting traditional sports of India. It is a contact team sport that requires strength, speed, strategy, and excellent teamwork. The game is played between two teams, each consisting of seven players. One player from the attacking team, called the raider, enters the opponent's half while continuously chanting "kabaddi, kabaddi". The raider tries to tag as many defenders as possible and return safely to his side without being tackled. If successful, the team earns points. Kabaddi is widely played in schools, villages, and professional leagues across India and other countries.
